What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of the website nolanlabs.io, operated by nolanlabs (“nolanlabs”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
These terms do not give you access to the nolanlabs product. Any access to the product, whether a pilot, a beta or a paid service, will be governed by a separate agreement that we sign with you.
Product status
nolanlabs is in private development. The website describes what we are building and how we intend it to work. Those descriptions are statements of intent, not promises: features, formats, integrations, timing and availability may change or may never ship. The before-and-after examples and other imagery on this website show the kind of work nolanlabs does; they are not records of a specific customer project. Nothing on this website is an offer, a warranty or a service commitment.
Demo requests and demos
- Requesting a demo is free and creates no obligation for you or for us. We may decline or delay a request.
- Please don’t put confidential information in the request form. If you want to discuss a confidential project, tell us and we can sign a non-disclosure agreement first.
- If you share footage for a demo, you confirm you have the right to share it with us for that purpose. You keep all rights to it. We use it only to prepare and run your demo, handle it as described in our Privacy Policy, and delete it afterwards. Results we make from your footage during a demo are yours to keep; they are provided as-is, as a demonstration.
Performers and likeness
Some nolanlabs work changes how a person appears on screen: an eyeline, lip movement matched to new dialogue, a lead actor’s face on a stunt double. We only do that work for a production that confirms in writing that every performer whose face, lips or likeness changes has agreed to that specific use, under their contracts and the law that applies to them. We don’t clone voices, create synthetic performers or generate performances from nothing, and we may refuse any request that we believe lacks that consent. Crowd work is built only from footage the production has the rights to and never copies a real person’s face.
Using the website
You agree not to:

- send automated or bulk submissions through our forms, or try to get around our spam protection;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or its infrastructure;
- use the website in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights.

Our content and trademarks
The website’s text, design, graphics and code belong to nolanlabs or its licensors. You may read, share links to and quote short excerpts of our content with attribution and a link to the source page. Please don’t republish whole articles or present our content as your own.
“nolanlabs” and our logo are our trademarks. Other product and company names mentioned on the website, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Nuke, ChatGPT and Claude, belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners, and nolanlabs is not affiliated with or endorsed by any person or company whose name resembles ours.
Messages and feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about nolanlabs, you allow us to use them to improve our products without owing you anything for it. This doesn’t give us any rights to your footage or your projects, and we won’t publish your name or your feedback without your permission.
Blog and third-party information
Our articles are for general information. They reflect our understanding on the date shown on each article and are not professional, legal or security advice. Software changes often, so check the vendor’s documentation before relying on a specific feature or setting.
Links to other websites
We link to other websites for reference. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it (including that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where those rights apply.
Changes
We may update these terms as nolanlabs develops, for example when the app becomes available. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the country you live in gives you mandatory protections that can’t be overridden.
