Cleanup is the paint and prep work every shoot leaves behind: the safety rope on a stunt, the markers on a wall, the crew in a reflection, a logo nobody cleared. You mark it once; nolanlabs paints it out on every frame and composites only that region back onto your plate.

No. The fill is composited back only inside the edit region, so every other pixel of the plate stays as shot. The edit-region matte comes with the clean plate, so you can check it or redo the blend yourself.
Yes, that is common stunt cleanup. Where the wire crosses hair or motion blur the result needs the closest look, and you get the fill patch and matte to refine it in your compositor.
